Osnovne prepreke u implementaciji Preporuka 2010 u Srbiji Factors that limit the implementation of guidance 2010th in Serbia
Autor: Aleksandra Lazic

Sazetak: Uvod

3) Svoje vladanje preporukama ocenom iznad dobro ocenjuje 75% lekara u EMS u Srbiji.
5) Defibrilator sa samolepljivim elektrodama nije deo out-of hospital EMS u Srbiji
6) Amodaron u ampuliranom obliku ne poseduju svi EMS u Srbiji

Background
Working Group for implementation the recommendations 2010th Serbian Resuscitation Council (SerRC) has given itself the task to determine and identify the major obstacles to the implementation of recommendations of the 2010 in Serbia

Methods
As the method has been chosen field research survey on a randomized sample of physicians. Study was conducted by completing a single questionnaire and skill demonstration-chest compressions (CC) on a manikin with an accelerometer-based system for measuring rate and depth of CC (AED Plus:Zoll Medical)

Results
The survey covered 157 of 1050 doctors working in Emergency Medical Service (EMS) in Serbia. Research indicates:

1) English language fluently speaks 10% of respondents, 27% use it without difficulty
2) 70% of respondents claimed to be familiar with the recommendations of the 2010th. 15% of them were informed at meetings SerRC.
3) 75% of doctors in the EMS in Serbia considered that he knew very well the recommendations.
4) 42% participants believe that they need regular training to maintain knowledge and skills
5) Defibrillator with self-adhesive electrodes is not part of out-of-hospital EMS in Serbia
6) EMS in Serbia don’t necessarily have Amodaron
7) Measurement of quality of CC was performed in 105 of 157 respondents. Total number of CC during two minutes period from all respondents was 27 410 with corresponding frequency of 131/minuti. Compression that meet the criteria of depth of 5-6 cm and frequency of 100-120/min was 5 824 or 21, 25%.

Conclusions

The survey helped to identify 10 major limiting factors for implementation. It indicates that the attitude of physicians is not adequate. There is a significant difference between consciousness of knowing some skill and their demonstration on model. The emphasis in future work should be given to changing attitudes about the necessity of training and regular retraining and providing adequate equipment and drugs that are in line with the recommendations as a condition for quality implementation of the recommendations of the 2010th.
